Abstract

Wireless electronic auction system processes auction work in a batch through computerizing and automating of the entire procedure from bidding to bid winning with one manipulation of key in such a way that in case of auction in agricultural and marine products wholesale market, bidding price is entered by way of wireless bidding machine of each bidder instead of middle wholesaler while existing hand bidding method is maintained, and with the data of offered bid price transferred wirelessly to auctioneer's computer and main computer, and the contents arranged based on the bidding middle wholesaler's No. and bidding price shown on the monitor, auctioneer determines winning of bid with the use of bid winning key by reviewing the validity of bid winning price where the result values are entered automatically into calculation software while being displayed in the display board and the wireless terminal(wireless bid winning machine) of middle wholesaler. Presently, in order to raise the transparency and fairness of auction, the ministry for food, agriculture, forestry and fisheries adopted this wireless electronic auction system in the last 2000, and 84%(among these, our products are supplied to Seoul Garak market, Busan, Incheon, Suwon, Daegu agricultural products market etc. and are presently in use) of all the auctioning corporations adopted this system, which are presently in use, and they are planned to spread to the entire wholesale market later on.

Feature

1. Since this system uses computer instead of using existing method of processing winning of bid by the naked eyes of auctioneer, this system guarantees transparency of the results.
2. As the data on successful bidder is entered automatically into calculation software simultaneously upon completion of auction, calculation process is omitted, and work force and time can be efficiently used.
3. As calculator type wireless bidding machine is used, which eliminates the need for memorizing of complex hand motion of hand operated auction, participation in auction is easy.
4. The contents on the property to be auctioned can be searched for before auction starts.
